ITE Co., Ltd. to Participate in the “2025 International Electric Power Technology Exhibition (EPTK 2025)”

ITE Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim In-tae) announced that it will participate in the 2025 International Electric Power Technology Exhibition (EPTK 2025), held for three days from May 14 (Wed) to May 16 (Fri).

ITE is a specialized electric safety company that has commercialized technologies designed to prevent electric shock, fire, and fatal electrical accidents. Based on its proprietary technology that limits leakage current to 5mA or less, the company has developed and supplied smart distribution panels, intelligent power supply systems, and portable temporary power units. According to the company, these technologies have been officially certified by KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), and are widely applied in procurement, construction, and plant sites.

The company has supplied smart electrical safety equipment to numerous public institutions, schools, industrial sites, and private sectors nationwide. Major public clients include KEPCO, Korea Rural Community Corporation, Korea Environment Corporation, and the military. Products have also been delivered to many local governments and universities such as Gunsan University and Jeju National University, as well as numerous elementary, middle, and high schools. In particular, the delivery record at POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks is cited as a clear demonstration of ITE’s technological reliability, application range, and suitability for government procurement.

Overseas, ITE has exported products to Nanten Smart Co., Ltd. in Chongqing, China, and holds international patents in more than seven countries, including the United States, the EU, Russia, Japan, China, India, and Indonesia—solidifying its competitiveness in the global electric safety market.

At this exhibition, ITE plans to showcase its government-supported smart safety equipment, the “12-3 Portable Leakage Current Control Device”, along with its electric shock/fire prevention technologies designed for temporary distribution panels, power units, and construction-site switchboards.

The Smart Power Supply System is an intelligent electric safety solution designed to prevent electric shock, fire, and fatal accidents in environments such as construction sites, plants, and educational facilities. This product is designated as an official government-supported item by KOSHA and MOLIT, making it eligible for safety management cost allocation and subsidy support.

ITE aims to expand globally by targeting countries where industrial safety regulations are tightening and large-scale infrastructure development is active.

Target markets include:

  • United States (US) — strict safety standards, large construction/plant market, growing ESG-based safety demand

  • Indonesia & India (INDN) — high industrial accident rates and expanding government-led infrastructure projects

  • Saudi Arabia & UAE — rising safety standards due to megaprojects and smart-city initiatives, existing prototype supply base

  • European Union (EU) — high ESG compliance demands and strong technical barriers supported by CE certification

An ITE representative stated:
“These countries show significant potential because our technology—limiting leakage current below 5mA, real-time monitoring, and preemptive shutdown—aligns closely with their accident-prevention standards and safety regulations.”

To accelerate global expansion, ITE plans to obtain CE, UL, CCC, and other country-specific certifications, while strengthening partnerships and distribution networks in China, Indonesia, India, Europe, and the Middle East.

The representative added:
“Our vision is to help companies comply with the Serious Accident Punishment Act and practice ESG management by providing solutions that prevent electrical accidents in advance. We will advance our smart electric safety platform, integrate cloud-based monitoring into existing smart power systems, and develop predictive safety systems capable of detection–alert–shutdown–analysis. We will also expand technology collaboration and joint public-sector projects with relevant government agencies.”

Meanwhile, the 2025 International Electric Power Technology Exhibition has evolved into a leading energy exhibition that encompasses electricity, energy, and environmental sectors. Based on more than 20 years of accumulated achievements, it has transformed into a convergence exhibition showcasing technologies for renewable energy, hydrogen, secondary batteries, and carbon neutrality—defining the future of the energy industry.
